Who We Are

Dr. Reilly S. White, PhD, is Principal and CEO of Erebor, LLC. Dr. White is the Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning and a tenured full Professor of Finance at the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management. Dr. White is also Director for the $6.0 Million student-run UNM Regent’s Portfolio, and leads a series of financial literacy projects in the community. In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees of the $19 Billion New Mexico Educational Retirement Board, Dr. White serves as Treasurer of the Board of the Cancer Support Community Los Angeles, and Chair of Voz Collegiate Preparatory School.


In addition to his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Connecticut, Dr. White graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth with a degree in Finance. Dr. White has published twenty-three articles in finance and financial technology in the last few years. Since 2020, Dr. White has been interviewed over 500 times by local and national media outlets on various economic and financial topics.​

Francis Nichol, MBA is the Senior Consulting Strategist at Erebor, LLC. He brings extensive experience from the New Mexico State Treasurer’s Office and has supported high-impact consulting work on public-sector finance and policy. His work includes contributing to the analysis and development of Santa Fe’s landmark living-wage ordinance, as well as conducting financial and economic data analysis for municipalities across the region.​
